I was invited to a Skylanders event for a preview of Skylanders Trap Team and took along my best cousin to help me save the day in Skylands. I love the keyboard wall, at the James New York hotel. I think it is so Cool, and always ask mom to take my picture in front of it.
Mom was busy talking with the other parentals, when my cousin jumped on the WiiU, and I picked up the PS3 to play Skylanders Trap Team.
Kaos has a plan to destroy Skylands, and breaks free the villains from Cloud Cracker prison. The walls of the prison are made of traptanium, and guarded by the trap masters. When Kaos blows up the jail, pieces of traptanium are released onto Earth. The Trapmasters have special traptanium weapons and can track down and trap the villains in their sparkly crystals.
What I love about the new Skylanders Trap Team:
~ I can trap the villains, and use them to help me defeat other villains.
~ I can change back and forth from a Skylander to a villain who has turned good to play
~ I can use my other Skylander figures in the Trap Team game
~ I’m so excited Kaos is now playable, and can’t wait to trap him
~ Skylanders Trapteam is also available for your tablet!! How awesome that now I can take it on the go, with the wireless remote and portable portal.
There will be 60 Skylanders, 40 trappable villains, and one amazing adventure, I am so ready to get this game and play with my friends.
Of course moms favorite part is the lesson for me that someone who is bad, can change and become good. I think she now wants traptanium crystals to change a few friends and maybe my sissy.
The snacks were great for after school, now if only mom can do this at home, I will be winning.
Decorating cupcakes was part of the event, and the colors of the Trap Team are red white and blue, and yes that is the Freedom Tower behind me. Great eye mom!

I’m not familiar with Skylanders but this looks like it was an awesome event. The figures look like something my son would like. He loves little action figures that he can carry around with him.
What a lovely celebration. I was just about to ask what Skylanders is. LOL. I guess it’s different when you a girl. Thanks to you anyway, now I have an idea who and what Skylanders are. 😀

Love Skylanders! we got them when they first came out and have been growing our collection since! This new set would be very cool to add to a certain little Christmas list ! 😉

I’m glad your boys had fun. My son isn’t old enough to know what these toys are – he’s still stuck on blocks and Disney’s Cars. Someday I’ll be in this scene too I’m sure.

Sounds like a very fun event, I am sure you had a great time playing and capturing all those villains. Those colorful snacks look so delicious.
