I attended TTPM‘s Holiday preview and wanted to share some of our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE picks for this Holiday Season. While I was on a time crunch, (there are just never enough hours in a mom’s day, just saying), I was unable to visit every booth and I did want to show you the items we loved from the booths we did visit.
Here are a few of the items we have added to our wish list:
(Stay tuned as the Holiday gets closer for full reviews and giveaways)
1. The Mad Max Tow Truck from Jakks Pacific was for sure my highlight and was instantly added to JD’s wish list, not only does it climb objects, and say over 50 phrases and sounds but it can also push/pull up to 200 pounds. I witnessed it for myself and was very impressed!
2. We all remember having a snow cone maker as a child, and have fond memories. With the Frozen that has hit us, and we can’t let go of, I think your kids will just love the Olaf the Snow Cone maker. I know we can’t wait to get our hands on it!
4. Spin Master who brought us Zoomer the dog last year, now gives us Zoomer Dino Onyx. Onyx Zoomer features a special onyx finish and collectors tin case, much like Zoomer the dog, he is trainable, and loves to play. however this dino will become agitated if you yank on his tail.
5. I myself have a chatty little girl, no matter the time she can chat up anything and anyone! Chatsters are just what she needs in life, with plenty of ways to chat up a Chatser which feature over 325 words and phrases and 25 different games and activities.
6. JD and G have so much fun playing with Spin Master’s Kinetic Sand itself, because its the only time I don’t freak out over sand. This wacky sand sticks together but doesn’t get stuck on your child’s hands and doesn’t leave behind any residues. Score one team MOM!
7. Like everyone else in America, I am certain you have played Monopoly growing up as a child, and well into your teenager years. Although every game is known to end the same way *&@^#*@)@(!&&!!! Hasbro has released a personalized edition and it looks like so much fun! Just think you can capture memories across the board, think sunshine and rainbows as you play Monopoly…
8. Are you ready to create 3D drawings with the Play-Doh DohVinci? Doh Vinci is a favorite for us and we play with it often to create picture frames, and so much more. With a variety of styling kits your creations can take on a life of their own via a kit or with your imagination.
9. Skylanders hit the scene years ago, and has stayed front and center, and has just released Skylanders Trap Team! This one is so cool this non-gamer mom is jumping in on the action. I’m ready to play, and capture the villains and turn them into good guys! Stay tuned for JD’s full review on Skylanders Trap Team.
10. Palace Pets is my kind of pet, Magic Dance Pumpkin comes to life with a magic wand. Pumpkin can speak over a dozen phrases and sounds and he follows your command. As a Palace pet of course Pumpkin arrives frilly and cutesy with stylish satin tutu and bows galore.
11. Doc McStuffins Get better Talking Mobile Cart gives little docs in training the ability to treat tiny patients on the go. Equipped with lights, a siren that plays the “Doc Mobile” song, booboos will be soothed and just like their own doctors appointment each visit ends with a sticker bandage. Expect countless hours of play, the possibilities are endless.
12. JD became obsessed with Disney Infinity after Santa left the building, we did what as parents we felt we should do. With the allowance he saved and additional chores he bought his own. His obsession has grew and now he has added Disney Infiniti 2.0 to his wish list to keep his allowance where it belongs in his piggy bank. The new Disney Infinity will take players deep into the Marvel Universe with classic characters and original story lines with endless possibilities to create new adventures. As a family of Marvel Fans yes this is a must and we will be playing together, why should JD have all the fun?
13. As an adult I am still in love with Hello Kitty, add a pink bow to anything and I instantly want it! G has followed right along with that trend and is also in love with this cute Kitty. Cartwheel Kids has brought us the Hello Kitty Kitchen Cafe which allows your kids the ability to serve you an iced latte withHello Kitty themed ice dispensed from the refrigerator/ice maker combo, while you look over the menu and decide on your cupcake of choice. Don’t forget to include the shopping cart, and functioning cash register for additional play time fun! Then go ahead and get ready for endless play and quiet moments….
