For just about everyone it’s that season again. You know the one where all the kids are sniffling, sneezing, coughing etc. For us its a constant occurrence. Dare I say it we have yet to kick the thumb sucking habit. I know, what can I say we are 4 and can’t kick it! I mean really it’s not like I can just cut her thumb off. Vicks Vapor Rub, hands down reminds me of my childhood winters. I was one of those kids who just loved the smell of the medicated vapors, and would insist for my grandma who would rub it on my throat and chest to relieve my cough and it always worked. What I eventually also found out is it also works on sore muscles and joints! SAY what?! Oh yeah I love a 2 for 1. You know you do too.
Children’s Nyquil is amazing because despite the runny nose, stuffy head, coughing, icky feeling that would usually keep the littles and ME up all night we rest. Need I say more?
Now that you have slept for a full 7 hours (Not since I had kids) make the right choice and reach for the Puffs Plus Lotion, because you don’t need a child with irritated skin along with flu symptoms.

I always forget Vick’s vapor rub for myself. I will remember this season because of you! I don’t get through a cold without Nyquil. If I don’t sleep, I don’t get better.
I have known Vicks for as long as I have been alive. It helped relieve congestion and aches and pains. My mom used to put some of it on the soles of my feet, and then covered by feet with socks before I went to bed. It really helped me feel better when I had cough and colds.
I have heard that some people have done that, I will have to give it a try next time one of my littles are sick. Thank you:)
Such a great post and great list my mom was using Vick’s for me and now i am using vick’s for my kids.
I am ready for fall but not this Flu Season. My kids got sick 2 weeks ago and my daughter had stomach flu like yesterday

Vicks Vapor Rub also reminds me of my childhood. I then used it on my kids when they were little and I am sure they will use it for their kids. They have also come out with some excellent products over the years.
