The hot days of summer fun are long gone and the school bell has rung, for back to school has kicked off with a vengence. However there are some things my little ones aren’t being taught just yet. To know me is to know the learning never ends at the end of the school day.
Why not learn a new language? I have been eager to teach my littles a new language since they began to babbel themselves. Now the trick is to have them learn to babbel in a new language.
In our house we speak a little bit of Italian, Ciao and a little bit of Spanish, Hola, sadly no one is fluent in either. Despite the efforts of both JD and Gia, the random ramblings of words they throw out while playing are neither of the languages that we can speak.
We were introduced to Babbel, the market-leading language learning app, this week and we could not wait to refresh our language skills as parents and introduce our kids to Italian 101. Babbel offers courses in 14 different languages, from Italian to Turkish. Offering short lessons and interactive exercises the app has kept us learning and practicing new words throughout our home and in our daily lives.
Babbel has quickly become an addition to our morning routine and clearly our favorite learning app with its entertaining lessons and its simple, colorful user interface.
Babbel offers a shared data plan – courses can be downloaded individually so you don’t need internet connection while using the app. For just $6.95/month a year, your morning rides or evening review will never be the same again with Babbel.
For more information on Babbel head your app store and check them out, follow them on social media Facebook, Twitter, and take a peek at their website itself.
What language would you love to learn with Babbel?
Ciao!
