Viruses, and identity theft are as common today as kids teaching their parents how to utilize the latest technology. After several family and friends have fallen victim to growing security concerns, we have decided to step up our safety precautions. With two little ones at home who are definitely tech savvy, internet safety is a concern. Although they themselves are not preparing spreadsheets and documents, we don’t really want their devices to become the weakest link that bring us down.
Sadly for us do gooders, Evil Geniuses hack the digital world in an attempt to achieve their most devious goals, stealing our information, not to mention our hard earned money. Crazy to comprehend right?! Truth is someone can mange to takeover our computers, and release chaos upon us with a simple click.
That is unless you have armed yourself with Kryptonite, in the form of a Security, Support and Storage bundle from Verizon Fios.
With the Security, Support and Storage Bundle your devices are covered from a variety of online threats like viruses, malware and spyware. No worries about having to reach a tech at any hour and falling victim to an outside source. U.S. based techs are on call 24/7, and support is always available to assist with setting up features etc. Verizon is also aware, most of our storage is utilized by irreplaceable photos (to the tune of 11,000+ for me), endless playlists and an occasional document, which is why they offer up to 150 GB of cloud storage to keep it all together and secure.
Tools to mastermind your counter attack from Evil:
- Don’t trust random sites, and most important—value the powers of a security bundle to save the day.
- Regularly back up your files, so when Evil strikes you won’t lose anything. Naturally you should always use caution when opening e-mails and navigating the internet.
- Upgrade to the latest security software and use anti-spam to block strange e-mail attachments.
- Install a password manager and comprehensive protection on your computer, phone and tablet.
Warning….For those who dedicate their lives to unleashing malicious master plans to take over our computers and and leave us all in a disarray as they seize cyberspace, get ready for an epic fail!
Disclosure: I am a Verizon Ambassador and this is a sponsored post, as always all opinions expressed are my very own.

I hadn’t heard of this bundle before and I am a very happy long-time fios customer. I know of at least one person who would benefit from the tech support aspect.

I hate that this is something we have to constantly be on the watch for. But alas, it is the nature of the beast. This sounds like a good investment!

This sounds fabulous. I don’t think we have Verizon here in Canada, but I wish we did. Our bundles and packages here aren’t too great!

I keep my stuff up to date but there are a few things that get passed Antivirus. I don’t use a windows based computer so I rely on the Antivirus that came with my machine (chromebook).
Phising scams are big too. If it’s too good to be true it probably is. 🙂

This sounds great. Internet security is so important. Also privacy settings. People overlook them but they are just as important.

This is so important. I had so many attempted hacks and it freaked me out so I upped my security and I do regular backups just to be safe.

Scary to think that something like this could happen so easily. This is a great service, I am going to look into it more.

Great price for internet security! I’ve been hacked a few times in the past and it happened too fast. I will look into this more in detail.

One of my biggest concerns is identity theft as it’s happened to me 3 times. As a mom I’m always concerned about my kids on the internet and possible viruses being caught. This is definitely worth looking into
