My family ventured over the George Washington Bridge, about a 45 minute drive for some Kow-A-Bonga action at the first-ever Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle exhibit at the Liberty Science Center. We were greeted with Ninja themed activities, to train Ninja wanna be’s of all ages. Once we completed the rigorous obstacle course we received a Ninja certification, a pizza party, (DUH) and, a meet & greet with the Turtles themselves. Definitely racking up those cool mom points.

The lair is designed with something for everyone, and secluded in one large room. It was fairly easy for my husband and I to split up to watch over both kids, and yet get some fun in ourselves, because the exhibit is that cool, you just want to play also!

With summer upon us, and those forsaken words… I’m Bored we all loathe to hear ready to escape our little peoples mouths, I say start planning a visit to the underground lair of your favorite shelled crime-fighters. Get set to enjoy hours of creative play as you leap into action and solve puzzles, mazes, and obstacles.
Liberty Science Center is the first stop on the exhibition’s first-ever national tour and runs through September 5. Dudes and Dudettes stop sitting around and go get trained to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle at Liberty Science Center.
Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secrets of the Sewer is free with paid admission or membership.
