As I woke up this morning I thought to myself wow this feels like the perfect fall day. With a brisk kick in the air I watched as the leaves on the ground scurried by.
Immediately I thought how quickly Summer is coming to an end and before I know it my babies will be heading back to school.
Just like when I was a kid the excitement of the newness that comes with going back to school is still there. Of course now a days it’s much more fun because I can dress my little ones.
Boys fashion has come along way since my little guy was born, and denim is certainly a staple to being trendy. Much like girls denim, boys now have cool styles and fits as well. All that being true, we chose True Religion as our go to for a first day look. We think JD has taken on the swagger of the Geno style denim. I love that although the Geno is a slim fit, it is still relaxed through the leg. Giving JD just enough room to be comfy without looking sloppy.
For a kid who is ready to start the fourth grade he looks very laid back about it. If he only knew the work that was waiting for him!
Rolling up the True Religion skinny jeans give JD more of a James Dean look, one he loves to mimic.
I have always loved the signature pocket detail of True Religion jeans.
The distressed look is simple and not overstated, sometimes less is more!

The shirt looks really nice. It’s great to be able to shop for kids before the school starts and with so many deals, it’s not that difficult to get stylish clothes anymore.

Yes, denim is part of my son’s Type B uniform. They wear Type B on months when Dengue Fever-causing mosquitoes are on the rise. You know how it is in a tropical country like ours. The school recommends light colored denim for the kids, though.
