It’s been an exciting 2016 so far for littleBits. In addition to their participation in the Disney Accelerator, they have launched three different kits this year: the STEAM Student Set, Rule Your Room, and Gizmos & Gadgets 2nd Edition. With littleBits, kids use their imagination and exercise their creativity as they make real world inventions that can be remixed in countless ways.
As part of the 2016 Disney Accelerator Demo Day yesterday, 10/14, littleBits founder Ayah Bdeir unveiled some exciting plans (and hinted at a few others) for robust collaborations with Disney in an effort to help kids cultivate their problem-solving skills, immerse themselves in STEAM, and ultimately prepare themselves for the job landscape of tomorrow. During her presentation, she specifically discussed a video series about inventing that will feature Disney Characters and littleBits, and that is meant to inspire kids to get creating. The series will kick-off in a few weeks with the first video featuring Big Hero 6.
