Welcome to Fashion Friday! For as far back as I can remember purchasing denim has always been a difficult task for me. During my middle school years, I recall my nanny (maternal grandma) always having to take in the waist on all of my denim. Eventually I believed my body was just a difficult type to fit.
Through my twenties and thirties I would think with the likes of Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez made my body type, of a small waist and big hips would become more popular. With hopes of reasonably priced denim looming in the air I was as disappointed as ever. Now in my 40’s, and a mom as much as I would like to justify spending over $200 on denim for myself to wear regularly, I just can’t.
