Like so many others, I had a goal that 2018 I would start eating healthier. However, what I really wanted, was for my family to eat healthier. My kids are snackers. From the moment the school bell rings, they greet me with a hug and a request for a snack. I knew I had to find something that satisfied us all. A snack that was sweet and yummy but still healthy. Of course my son, said mom anything that is healthy never taste good. Naturally I had to prove him wrong…
His mind made up, before the box was opened. Out of the box came MadeGood vanilla crispy snacks, and JD was intrigued. As were his friends that were also over for a session of slime making.
But first, will they eat it?
After taking a quick peak at the label and ingredient list, I was quickly becoming doubtful this would happen. Ready to admit defeat. I handed over the Vanilla Crispy Squares, (reminiscent of everyone’s favorite childhood snack…), healthier than the traditional version, (sshh don’t read the next part out loud), and have the nutrients of one serving of vegetables in each square. Wait for it….
Mic drop, JD loves them!

Happy dance. Go ahead and pack this snack into the lunch bag without any worries. Gia likes to also pack them for her on the go snack when traveling for gymnastics or to dance. Her gymnastics and dance school is an hour away, (don’t ask) and she can tend to get a little Hangry! Filling the craving of something sweet she reaches for the Chocolate Chip granola bar. The good thing is we each have our own favorites, so there is plenty for everyone.
MadeGood is a family business and passion, and the inspiration came out of their life-long relationship with healthy food. A goal I am trying to desperately achieve. Growing up Italian our life long relationships usually focus on food, minus the healthy. It’s not like we were searching for non healthy foods, we just have always gravitated to comfort foods from recipes that were handed down many generations.
I myself have since become a fan of the granola minis. Round clusters, which are portion packed for an on-the-go snack. There’s also the option to purchase in a resealable pouch, for sharing or just coming back for seconds later! Given the snackability, they’re also great for traveling, and rest assured these options will be tucked away in my carry on while traveling to California this summer.
MadeGood snacks are the perfect healthy snacking option for everyone including vegan or friends/family visiting with allergies. Interested in picking up a box for yourself? You can purchase them via my amazon affiliated link or for a complete list of where to buy visit Made Good Foods.
