Brrr! The cold weather has begun to show its ugly face here in New York, which means we are moving the fun indoors. Just a short drive through the Lincoln Tunnel led us to our favorite place to explore, The Liberty Science Center. It is the perfect location to explore on the weekend or day off from school.
The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes
Both of my children are interested in developing their scientific curiosities, which is why we visit The Liberty Science Center for their hands-on exhibits for kids. They both felt right at Holmes while visiting the Sherlock Holmes Exhibit! Their magnifying the fun of mystery with imagination to solve the cases of the iconic detective tales. Following the clues and codes of the crimes, your eye is the prize to learn the power of observation! The Sherlock Holmes exhibit is open for play until May, we were sure to leave our prints behind!
Doc McStuffins: The Exhibit
We also found a favorite new bear to care for at the Doc McStuffins exhibit! Based on the hit Disney TV show, families are welcome to learn through play in the McStuffins Toy Hospital and Doc’s Backyard Clinic. The exhibit features interactive activities like check-ups and pet toy grooming. Little ones will get hands on education about health, while learning through play. Don’t worry if you can’t make it during the holidays, the doctor will be in and on display till Jan 27th!
If you are planning a staycation while the kiddos are out over the Holiday break The Liberty Science Center is open and ready to explore! Be sure to check out these two cool new exhibits and let us know your thoughts.
