- Supplies Needed
- Pipe Cleaners
- Plastic Crowns
- Sea shells
- Large Starfish shells
- Glittery paints in your color of choice, we used sparkly purples, and mermaid teals, and iridescent.
- glue gun
To start, enlist a few friends, pour some wine, and get started! We wrapped the plastic crowns with silver pipe cleaners. The kids can definitely help you with this task if they are gentle…. With that said, Gia did not help with this step.
We painted shells of varying sizes, with a couple of coats of different color paints until we reached our desired look. (Kid Friendly step, Gia did assist) This was such a relaxed activity for us to do together, and gave us the opportunity to talk about our day and more.
Once the paint dried, we heated up the glue gun and applied the shells to the crowns. Just remember the more shells you add the heavier the crown will be.
