This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cricut for Cricut. All opinions are 100% mine.
A good portion of my time during quarantine has been crafting with my Cricut Maker. Although not yet an expert, my skills have improved. While stalking through various Facebook Groups I’ve noticed so many users and Cricut fans are typically asking the same questions. Which leads me to this post, today I am answering those questions and sharing more about my love for the Cricut Maker. Ready? Let’s Go!
What makes the Cricut Maker different from other Cricut Machines?
The Cricut Maker is a sleek cutting machine that creates a detailed and intricate design perfectly with each cut. Amen for Cricut ditching the settings knob with the Cricut Maker, making it so much simpler to use.
Only Cricut Maker features unique, commercial-grade technology that controls the direction of the blade and the cut pressure to match your material. You can also take on more materials than ever, with 10X more cutting power.
What materials can I cut?
The Cricut Maker cuts 300+ materials from the most delicate paper to the the heavy duty stuff like leather and basswood. For more click the video to see what it is capable of.
Is a Cricut Maker worth the price?
The Cricut Maker takes the guess work out of spinning the knob and praying for a precise cut when choosing the material you are working with. Having the ability to click or tap on the tile to select the setting for the material you are using leaves little room for error, that alone is worth the price. The Cricut Maker also has 10X the cutting power, making it the most versatile smart cutting machine. Again with the ability to cut 300+ materials quickly and accurately, from the most delicate paper and fabric to mat-board and leather.
Can I make money with the Cricut?
You sure can! Again I am no expert and I really do create within my comfort zone, yet I have friends messaging me as soon as I share my creations asking how much to purchase an item.
What type of DIY projects can I make with the Cricut Maker?
The most used machine in our home these days has been my Cricut Maker, yes even more than our coffee machine. With the ability to cut 300+ materials and the Cricut’s ever-expanding tool system, and the advantage of also engraving, debossing, and more the possibilities of creations are endless. With the Cricut Design Space you will also have access to hundreds of patterns . Pick a project, and the machine cuts all the pieces you need.I have used vinyl to label canisters in our cabinets, and storage in our craft room. I’ve also created a sign for our garden, and labels for the vegetable plants, heat transfer shirts, pillowcases, and ice pop holders. I am eager to get into cutting wood next week and can’t wait to report how that turns out.
If you are a creative person who craves more the Cricut Maker is the smart choice for you! Once you have freed your Cricut Maker from the shackles of the box and all its protective padding, go ahead and OOOhhh Ahhhhh over it for a minute and then check out an introduction to the Cricut Maker.
Hoping you enjoy your Cricut Maker as much as we do, we look forward to watching you tell your story with your creations.
