My son is a gamer, he enjoys playing both the WiiU, and 3DS and I’m cool with both considering he is a A- student. Generally he earns his new games, and I am sometimes the not so lucky one to bring him to the store to make his purchase. I say not so lucky because he is BEYOND indecisive when it comes to choosing a game.
Being a part of the Nintendo Kid Reviewer program has been a game changer in my life as well as his. He now receives games to test out and gives reviews to his classmates, friends and on his blog and youtube channel.
Recently, Nintendo sent us a $20 gift card to shop the eshop, and I am as happy as can be when he earns a new game! Mostly because I’m proud of the good grades he has received, ok who am I kidding I’m glad to not have to step foot into a store! I can basically continue my task of whatever it is I’m doing as he sifts through games which include his favorite characters. Also the time to decide on his game is cut down in half because he gets a better understanding of what the game is about with action shots, and demos of the games themselves.
Although we were provided with a $20 gift card from Nintendo, we did of course go over our limit, because my son found a game he liked and the hubby found one for himself as well. I found adding funds to our account as simple as my other online purchases, and my son was able to process the transaction with little to no help from his parentals (as he calls us). Just like gift cards you have used previously, you can scratch off the back and simply enter the numbers to add funds to your Nintendo network ID. An eshop gift card also makes for a perfect gift for gamer birthdays, and for Valentines Day!
The Nintendo eShop has made shopping for both kids and parents alike as was as can be. The gift cards in various dollar amounts also make it great for gift giving for all the gamers in your life.
