I had the distinct honor of attending a sneak peek media tour hosted by Nicole Perrino of BronxMama of the Bronx’s own BJ’s Wholesale Club. As a lifelong Bronx resident and Mom of 2; I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to welcome them to another facility in the Bronx.
We were given a tour of the brand new 110,550 square foot facility and I was so thoroughly impressed with the knowledgable staff, amazing prices and huge selection of fresh produce and organic products.
I also learned something very near and dear to my heart. BJ’s participates in an Adopt-A-School program as well as the other organizations in the community. This location has partnered with P.S. X037 to give them a $1,000 donation and $1,500 in school supplies. The club has also selected Bronxworks, Kingsbridge Heights Community Center, and City Harvest to donate funds to. I always instill in my children the importance of giving back to the community and love that as I shop for all my household essentials I am also giving back to families in need.
When I think of needs, I can truly say any and everything you could ever want or need can be found in the aisles of BJs. Whether it’s cold cuts, produce, vitamins, household cleaning items, food and so much more.
My friend and I also have a share system where we split some of the big box items since storage can be an issue in my NYC homes. It works perfectly for us and makes for a fun night out for Mom as we stock up on snacks and juice boxes for the kids and pick up our favorite bottle of Merlot for us 😉

BJ’s recently unveiled its new My BJ’s Perks™ Program that greatly enhances Member benefits.
